TJ2 Lighting and DAY OF(F) Interior Design worked together to bring warmth and personality to this fresh, minimalist interior through refined lighting and high-quality illumination.

Natural, gentle light blends seamlessly into daily life, creating a comfortable atmosphere for reading, relaxing, and spending time with family.
Good design is not only about seeing a space, but also about experiencing life within it. Let light illuminate every moment while reflecting the homeowners’ unique lifestyle.
▎TJ2 Lighting and DAY OF(F) Interior Design, Working Together to Create a Lifestyle That Feels Just Right
Freshness is the first impression that Zhu Residence leaves on people. Yet within its simplicity lies the homeowners’ unique personality and way of living. The bright interior is built upon a palette of warm wood tones and soft off-white hues, complemented by orange pendant lights, a blue table lamp, and a rocking chair by the window, which serve as visual highlights placed in just the right spots. Rather than intentionally layering elements or pursuing excessive decoration, the design preserves a sense of spontaneity and playfulness within its clean lines, making the space not only beautiful but also a genuine reflection of the homeowners’ relaxed and cheerful lifestyle.
In this collaboration between TJ2 Lighting and DAY OF(F) Interior Design, light was regarded as an essential element of the spatial design. Through the use of ARC full spectrum downlights and LED linear lighting, a natural, comfortable, and refined lighting environment was created for Zhu Residence.
Full spectrum lighting allows home colors to appear more natural while revealing the authentic textures of wood finishes, furniture, and everyday objects. Soft and even illumination extends the sense of brightness throughout the space while reducing visual pressure. LED linear lighting outlines the contours of the interior with clean lines of light, creating harmony between light, architecture, and materials. This allows the freshness of daytime to continue into the evening, adding greater depth and atmosphere to everyday living.
We can imagine the homeowners sitting on the sofa, chatting and reading, while their cat moves freely through the space. A rocking chair by the window welcomes the daylight, while the dining table becomes the setting for the most natural moments of connection throughout the day. As the sun sets, lighting gently takes over, illuminating familiar everyday moments and transforming the atmosphere of the home from bright to warm, while still maintaining a sense of calm and ease.
Good lighting does more than illuminate a space—it allows the true character of a home to be seen and brings an extra touch of warmth to even the most ordinary moments of daily life.
